oh my oh land was amazing last night. before the concert me and alana had some wine at gordon's wine bar. can highly recommend it! the concert was at heaven, near embankment, and i had a really great time. oh land is charming, talented and gives you a proper show. go see!

freedom! freedom! for the first time in my life, i got on a bike in london. rode on the w-r-o-n-g side of the road all the way to new row coffee. mr angelo was very much surprised when he waved at me through the window. it felt great. really great. can't wait to get my own bike!

on thursday alana is bringing me to a concert with oh land. haven't listened to her before, so i'm very excited. this danish singer songwriter sure seem to have something, and i'm looking forward to a great show on stage.
på torsdag ska jag följa med alana på enkonsert med oh land. jag har inte lyssna på henne tidigare, så det ska bli riktigt spännande. denna danska singer songwriter verkar minst sagt ha något , och jag ser fram emot en grym show på scen.

just got back home from town. have spent all day with alana. first at borough market, then tate modern, then at hayward gallery for the david shrigley: brain activity exhibition and last but not least we spent a few hours at oxford street. tired, but in that good way.

that moment when you go to the check-out in primark, thinking you're going to pay eithteen pounds but there's some kind of invisible discount on all items and you end up paying ten puound and twenty pence. magic.

since i kind of didn't have much else to do, i followed mr angelo to work this afternoon. as the afternoon turned into early evening, i decided to go home. not just go home as in go home, but actually walk the whole way home. it took me one hour and fourtytwo minutes. proud.
då jag inte har så mycket annat för mig, följde jag mr angelo till jobbet i eftermiddags. men när eftermiddagen blev till tidig kväll, bestämde jag mig för att det var dags att gå hem. bokstavligt talat. en timme och fyrtiotvå minuter tog det. nöjd.

not any old breakfast will do these days. found the "bake-it-fresh" croissants, that we often buy in copenhagen, in tescos. imagine how £1.79 can give you such a lovely start in the morning. especially served with marmelade from bonne maman.

valentine's schmalentines. me and mr angelo started the day after with a lovely breakfast. and you know what, a warm breeze filled my lungs as i took a walk just now. soon six o' clock, and it's not even chilly.
alla hjärtans dag, scmalla stjärtans dag. jag och mr angelo började dagen med denna härliga frukost. selleri. alldrig smakar selleri så gott som här. i vilket fall som helst tog jag ett djupt andetag under min promenad tidigare, och fyllde lungorna med ljummen luft. nu är klockan snart sex, och det är inte ens kallt.

ok so w-h-e-r-e have i've been hiding to have been able to miss that kvarteret skatan has made a movie called "kvarteret skatan flyttar till laholm". since laholm is my hometown, i can't wait til the premiere on march sixteen. the ensamble just presented the award for this years innovator at grammisgalan in stockholm.

working, cleaning and sorting out my london life, more or less. not having an english number yet is making me kind of delayed when it comes to finding something to do here. can't wait to find some kind of project to work with. anything, as long as it's fun and make me get up in the morning. til then, focus on photography.

deciding to meet alana early either saturday or sunday every weekend might be one of the best decicions i've ever made. today we went to the design museum. lying close to tower bridge, walking to the museum treats you with a nice view and fresh air to wake up. the designs of the year 2012 exhibition was great, but no cameras were allowed. instead, here's some pictures from the terence conran the way we live now exhibition.
att komma överens med alana att ses tidigt varje lördag eller söndag kan vara något av det bästa jag gjort i hela mitt liv. idag var vi på design museum. då det ligger nära tower bridge får man en härlig promenad längs temsen och massor med frisk luft på vägen dit. just idag var det extra bra, då både jag och mr angelo behövde vakna till. utställningen "the designs of the year 2012" var grym, men jag blev tillsagd att det inte var tillåtet att fotografera. så här kommer istället bilder från terence conran utställningen "the way we live now".

so. two weeks. being a london resident again feels wierd. but great. but strange. but awesome. frightening and just lovely. these two weeks have been filled with a lot of the things that i love the most, therefore, here's a bunch of pictures. first of all, here's my new place. will post close-ups soon. me and mr angelo bought dumplings in chinatown. then london got covered in snow. i enjoy the london street art. alana took me to old spitalfields market and tought me how to spell it. i'm still amazed how london can be so grey. so i try to colour my days with flowers. we still go to crêperie du monde, even if the service is crap. london by night treat you with lights in different colours and shades. valentine's day makes me sick. last but not least, i've been on so many busses. i enjoy watching london from above, always in the front seat. always.

walked by patisserie valerie yesterday. in the window there was a poster saying "flowers won't do" and then something about valentines day. made me mutter "flowers will do just fine, as long as i don't get them just because it's valentines day" to myself. commercial crap, that's what valentines day is. i then bought myself some lillies. just because.

even if breating in the london air kind of makes me cough, spending the afternoon, alone, around chinatown was amazing. and much needed. managed to get all the essentials i was lacking in superdrug. i love superdrug. i also spent no money in the body shop, thank's to several "buy-one-get-something"-deals. sis, get your ass over here n-o-w!
