eurovision, eurovision and more eurovision. next week end i'll be moving to malmö, and that's when the really hectic days start. but i'm already busy taking pictures and interviewing people here in malmo. yesterday i had the pleasure of seeing extremely talented students perform all the thirty nine eurovision songs, and have a chat with the afterwards. read the article here. now, better get down to the stage again!

yes, this marble table will be used for displaying several of meals, new finds or beautiful flowers. in this case, to display a cute, and very cheap, wooden honey spoon i bought a few days ago at what might be one of my new favourite shops: notre dame, here in copenhagen. it's got really good stuff for crafting, your kitchen and decorating your home. it's very central too, just a few steps from strøget.
jo, detta marmorbord kommer att få sin beskärda del av er uppmärksamhet för att visa upp flertalet maträtter, nya fynd och vackra blommor. just i detta fall för att visa en söt, och väldigt billig, honungssked i trä jag köpte i en butik som mycket väl kan bli en ny favorit: notre dame, här i köpenhamn. massor med fint till köket, hemmet i allmänhet eller pyssel. dessutom ligger den centralt, några steg från strøget.

grey and gloomy tuesday is filled with colour and energy by kiki. we're having breakfast as we're working at a place called la esquina. close to nørrebro, but stil on a backstreet, it's the perfect place to bring your computer.
denna grå och trista tisdag fylls med färg och energi av kiki. vi äter frukost och jobbar på ett ställe som heter la esquina. det ligger nära nørrebro, men ändå på en bakgata, vilket gör det till det perfekta stället att ta med sig datorn.

two years ago me and mr angelo kind of decided that long distance dating wasn't for us. so happy two year anniversary for us! celebrating with an awesome salad, and game of thrones.
för två år sedan bestämde sig jag och mr angelo för att skippa långdistansdejtandet och bara köra på. så grattis på tvåårsdagen till oss! firar med en fantastisk sallad, och game of thrones.

today is queen margrethe's birthday and she sure must have asked for some nice weather! the sun is so bright and the sky is clear blue. today's breakfast/lunch was sunfilled and now i can't wait to get out and enjoy this beautiful day.

the fog lies thick over christiania and i've been busy decoration, sorting, cleaning, scrubbing, moving, trying out different ways of making this place liveable. it's quite tiny, hard to furnish because of reasons like the shower stadning in the bedroom and the toilet being smaller than a small closet. but i'm doing my best, and won't give up. these flowers and lot's of candles does make it feel better, and as home is where your heart is, this must be it.
dimman ligger tung över christiania. jag har haft fullt upp med att dekorera, sortera, städa, skrubba, flytta och försöka få detta ställe levbart. det är rätt litet och svårmöblerat på grund av små saker som att duschen står i sovrummet och toaletten är mindre än en liten garderob. men jag gör mitt bästa, och tänker inte ge upp. dessa blommor och många levande ljus gör saken lite bättre, och med tanke på att "home is where your heart is", så måste ju detta vara det.

babysteps. we've been taking babysteps when it comes to getting the flat ready. but after yesterday, i've come as far as only one movingbox left! and that goes up to the storage room. feels great to have unpacked, and now we just need to find a place for everything. and mr angelo needs to build a sofa. hmm. oh well, it's friday and he's got all weekend! this morning we had breakfast at our new table for the first time. i already love it.
ett steg i taget. vi har verkligen tagit ett steg i taget när det gäller att få lägenheten i ordning. men efter igår har jag kommit så långt som att vi endast har en flyttlåda kvar, och den ska faktiskt upp på loftet! det känns grymt skönt att ha packat upp, och nu ska allt bara få sin rätta plats. och mr angelo ska bygga en soffa. hmm. nåja, det är fredag och han har ju hela helgen på sig! i morse åt vi frukost vid vårt nya bord för första gången. jag älskar det redan.

oreo cheesecake and a lemon meringue pie that is to die for. todays sweet treat came from bertels kager in frederiksberg in company of alana and nikol. will most certainly visit this place again, as it has all i need: great interior, good coffe, friendly people and once again, a lemon maringue pie that is to die for. i can not stress that enough.

ikea. the most wonderful place on earth, if you ask me on a day when everything has run smoothly. today, as i rushed there in a van from "lej et lig" (rent-a-corpse), with alana as my ikea-partner, you might not have gotten the same answer. and as i haven't brought everything up yet, i'm only hoping that the wardrobe i'm planning to put all my clothes in tonight, will have all the bits and pieces it needs. or i'll... anyway. another four lettered store that i like (most times) is irma. today i bought this lovely tote that i will bring every time i go grocery shopping.
ikea. världens mest fantastiska ställe, om du frågar mig en dag när allt gått som det ska. men idag hade nog svarit varit annorlunda, när jag rusade dit i en van från "lej et lig", med alana som ikea-hjälp. och då jag inte burit upp allt än, kan jag bara hoppas att alla skruvar, smådelar och annat följde med hem så att garderoben jag tänkte hänga in alla mina kläder i i kväll faktiskt kommer upp. annars... i alla fall. ett annat ställe på fyra bokstäver jag gillar (nästan alltid) är irma. idag köpte jag denna söta tygpåse som jag ska ta med mig varje gång jag ska ut och handla.

too tired/not hungry enough to cook dinner equals my favourite breakfast, for dinner. koldskål with blueberries, raspberries and kammerjunkere. sweet, but sour enough. god how i've missed it. add some wishful thinking about spending loads of money online, and there you've got my evening.
för trött/inte tillräckligt hungrig för att laga middag betyder min favoritfrukost till, middag. koldskål med blåbär, hallon och kammerjunkere. sött, men surt nog. som jag saknat det. lägg till lite önsketänkande om att spendera en massa pengar online, och där har du min kväll.

just got back from malmö after getting there quite early this morning. at eight am today the first trucks with eurovision equipment arrived, and i went there to take pictures of them arriving. not very spectacular, but i also got to visit my new work place, svt malmö, and my new colleagues. i start on monday (oh well, monday-ish), and am super excited! svt malmö has a great location in västra hamnen, only a short walk from the station. and malmö arena is even closer to copenhagen! commuting to work won't be a problem at all, when this is what you get on your way:
kom precis hem från malmö efter att ha åkt dit hyffsat tidigt i morse. klockan åtta anlände de första lastbilarna med eurovisiongrejer och jag var där för att fånga det på bild. inte lika spektakulärt som jag hade hoppats på (mest kontorsprylar i en liten, liten lastbil), men så passade jag också på att åka in till stan för att hälsa på mina nya kollegor. svt malmö ligger jättefint i västra hamnen, en kort promenad från stationen. och malmö arena ligger ännu bättre till från mitt håll sett! att pendla över sundet kommer inte att vara några problem alls, speciellt inte med denna utsikt på väg till jobbet:

the fact that our neighbours downstairs has a large parrot and our neighbours upstairs has twenty kids that, at least what i think, enjoys banging stuff in the floor just to see what it sounds like... our slow sunday after a great night out with friends last night is kind of rough. so yogi tea, popcorn and the new series hannibal it is.
det faktum att grannen under oss har en stor papegoja och grannen ovanför har tjugo barn som, i alla fall vad jag tror, gillar att banka olika saker i golvet bara för att höra hur det låter... vår sköna söndag efter en fantastisk kväll ute med vänner igår har varit så lagom skön. därför får det nu bli yogi te, popcorn och den nya serien hannibal.

that moment i found out we had a combined gas stove and convection oven, oh the joy! i say hello to food with a colden crust and bye bye to disaster dinners. that moment i found dr p5, oh the joy! news, not too much talking and good music. i mean, céline dion, bob dylan, bryan adams, the beatles and the rolling stones, all in one show. margaret lindhardt knows her stuff...now, breakfast!

back in copenhagen! batteries recharged to take on this messy flat that just need to be sorted right now. can't stand all these boxes and stuff lying around everywhere... but first, some old photos from the ferry ride a few months ago. next time i'm visiting my parents, i'm taking the route via helsingør/hensingborg. so much nicer!

since our moving plans kind of didn't go as planned, i didn't get to spend enough time with my family around easter. so now as the flat in copenhagen is statring to look like a home, i'm leaving home to take the train up to laholm. this is one of the reasons i prefer copenhagen to stockholm: the freedom in being able to see friends and family, when ever i want, without paying a fortune. the train to laholm takes two hours, and the price is the same no matter if i buy the ticket yesterday, in two hours or in fourteen days.
i med att våra flyttplaner inte riktigt gick som planerat, fick jag inte spenderat tillräckligt med tid med familjen kring påsk. så nu när lägenheten i köpenhamn börjar likna ett hem, lämnar jag hemmet för att åka hem till laholm. detta är en av anledningarna till att jag föredrar köpenhamn framför stockholm: friheten i att kunna ta tåget hem, när jag vill, utan att det kostar en förmögenhet. resan tar cirka två timmar, och kostar lika mycket om jag bokar den igår, om två timmar eller fjorton dagar.
